On the first floor there is a mezzanine area, leading to 3 large double bedrooms with en suite bathrooms, two twin rooms, two single rooms and a large family bathroom. Extra single beds and cots are available.

The large kitchen is fully equipped with dishwasher, washing machine, fridge-freezer, microwave and a large SMEG cooker. There is a kitchen table that seats 6/8 people.
The dining room has a long oak table seating up to 12 people.

The large lounge has a full height ceiling, large arch window and a traditional stone fireplace with wood burning stove. There are comfortable sofas and armchairs and a large tv (with Sky Freeview).

The private 10m pool is heated, with Roman steps at the shallow end and is open from May – September. The pool is fully fenced.
Parking and garages
There is ample parking on private land by the side of the house and at the end of the garden.
Cots, highchairs, stairgates, bicycles and pool toys are all available.

Saintes – old Roman town, situated on the river Charente. Good for shopping, restaurants, markets, theatre/cinema, boat trips on the river, Roman amphitheatre.
Cognac – home to all the major Cognac distilleries, situated on the river Charente.
Good for shopping, restaurants, markets, Cognac tours and tastings – try Otard and Henessey.
St Jean d’Angely – small medieval town which comes alive on market days (Wednesday and Saturday). Good restaurants and bars. Boating lake and large indoor swimming pool.
